Mara ‘Marnie’ Katz, MA, BCBA, COBA is the Founder and Executive Director of Epicenter ABA Therapy. Marnie earned her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University in Speech and Language Pathology and her Masters degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In 2014, while working toward her BCBA, Marnie joined a small Chicago based ABA company, as their 5th employee. As she was promoted within to their Regional Director of Chicago, Marnie was a key contributor to the company’s growth. Marnie left her position as the Regional Director in October 2017. The company had grown to over 300 employees. In January 2018, Marnie founded Epicenter ABA in Cleveland, Ohio. Epicenter has expanded to over 20 full-time employees including three BCBAs and continues to grow. She specializes in working with a wide range of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or co-morbid neurological disorder (I.e. ADHD, Mood Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Blind, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, PDD-NOS) using evidence based treatment, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. Marnie’s dedication and work supporting the autism community in Northeast Ohio has only just begun.
